Meet Victoria
Owner and Therapist
My name is Victoria and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Dallas, Texas. I'm so glad you are here. I have always been drawn to helping others, and I would be truly honored to be a source of support for you.
About Me
I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from Austin College (Go Roos!), and graduated from University of North Texas with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During my graduate internship, I developed a passion for helping women impacted by trauma. I have since spent over 7 years working as a therapist and assistant clinical director at Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support in Dallas, TX, where I have received extensive training and have served hundreds of women and children survivors of intimate partner violence and trauma.
I opened Sapphire Blooms Counseling in 2026 to continue my passion for supporting survivors of trauma and to help women reconnect with themselves, to support new parents, and to offer a glimmer of hope for those who may be feeling the weight of the world.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy my favorite role as Mom, and I love spending time with my loved ones, being outside in nature, drinking coffee or a chai latte, traveling to new places, rewatching comfort comedy and cooking TV shows (some favorites include The Office, Friends, Parks and Recreation, and Great British Bake Off), Tex-mex and good brunch food, and constantly learning.
My Approach
Like the sapphire, I believe my clients are strong, resilient, and worthy, just as you are. At the core of my practice is my belief in creating a safe, therapeutic relationship in which to help my clients more fully understand and accept themselves. Relationships can be the source of so much pain, and yet also be a pathway towards healing.
As your therapist, I will create a safe space and collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan that is specific to you and your goals, never telling you what you should do or judging your situation. I use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to therapy, often incorporating evidence-based trauma therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with children and adolescents.
